This is a general installation guide for how to install our LED pod lights on your truck or SUV. For this walkthrough, we will be using the Ford F-250 as a reference. We recommend referring to your LED pod light's corresponding installation guide included in your package or online at our LED fog lighting guide page.
Note that every package will come with a metal bracket that you need to mount the LED pod light and the OEM bezel together.
Step 1: Locate the mounting location for your truck or SUV's LED pod lights. This can be found behind the wheel well liner and is accessible by turning your wheel inwards.
Step 2: Unplug the stock harness and remove the existing pod lamp by loosening the three bolts on the back support bracket.
Step 3: Secure the included mounting metal bracket to the back plate/bracket.
Step 4: Assemble the LED pod light. Follow our guide on how to assemble your LED pod light in the video below:
Step 5: Secure the LED pod light to the metal bracket and tighten by threading a nut and washer through the bolt of the LED pod light.
Step 6: Attach the garnish bezel to the back support plate through the inner center holes. Reinstall the back support bracket.
Step 7: Connect the wires of your LED pod light to an existing wire harness.
Step 8: Make sure all lights are functioning as they should. Reattach the wheel well liner to finish up.
